The BK Style Foundation launches ‘Swap across America’ with Global Fashion Exchange in Baltimore

BK Style Swap across America is a pop-up swap event to celebrate Swapping with Global Fashion Exchange, Lablaco, Swapchain, and Sustainable Fashion Week across the USA. The Mission is to save the landfills of items that can be used by another person, and can be shared without a cost to the individual, thereby creating a sustainable lifestyle.
Our goal is to create a sustainable planet with less consumerism. BK Style Swap America is giving consumers the chance to participate and discover fashion through swapping. Swappers can drop off up to 7-items of clothing, accessories, art, and other swappable items, then pick up the number of items they dropped off — from the selection on the rail/table/wall, FREE, no sale is involved. When consumers join the BK Style Swap America event, our partner Lablaco-created Digital platform makes Swapping easy. Participants will be able to activate a SWAPCHAIN account by swiping their phone across the QR Code, then bring the items to BK Style Swap America events.

 BLACK-OWNED BASEBALL LEAGUE LAUNCHES NEW LINE OF APPAREL TO EMPOWER OTHERS

Nationwide (BlackNews.com) -- A Black-owned baseball league called A League of Our Own (ALOOO) has announced the launch of their new pro-Black clothing line of apparel that is meant to empower and sustain their league. These items may be viewed and purchased by way of their website at ALOOO247.com with the proceeds been used to benefit and sustain the future growth of our league. A-League of Our Own is a professional fall urban independent developmental baseball league for players 17-years old and older that have completed high school or college baseball and/or have not been afforded the opportunity to be a part of a high school or college team. This league is dedicated to those players who were denied the opportunity to play baseball because of factors other than their ability to play the game. The league operates between October through November for six weeks of non-stop baseball, 4-6 teams, 6 games per week. A registered 501(c)(3) Not for Profit Corporation, their vision is to promote diversity in baseball, and develop economic, social, and educational programs and promote entrepreneurship.
